A Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for identifying, researching, and developing new business opportunities to support company sales growth. The role involves targeting potential clients, engaging with prospects through various outreach methods (email, calls, social media, events), and nurturing leads through the sales funnel. The specialist collaborates closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure qualified leads are handed off for conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential prospects in target industries and markets

• Generate qualified leads through cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and CRM tools

• Maintain and update lead data within lead management platforms

• Conduct initial outreach and set appointments or demos for the sales team

• Develop strategic approaches to improve lead volume and quality

• Analyze lead performance and provide insights for campaign optimization

• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients

• Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and campaigns

• Track daily, weekly, and monthly outreach performance metrics

Required Skills

• Strong communication (written & verbal) and persuasion skills

• Expertise in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)

• Knowledge of lead generation strategies and techniques

• Email marketing and cold calling skills

• Research and data analysis capabilities

• Understanding of online marketing channels (LinkedIn, Google, industry platforms)

• Time management and target-oriented approach

• Ability to handle rejection and maintain professionalism

Preferred Qualifications
