We are looking for an experienced game developer to create an augmented reality (AR) application for the Meta 3 headset using Unity, specifically in passthrough mode.
This app will serve as a client-facing portal for viewing and exploring all options throughout the entire home-building process, allowing clients to seamlessly switch between materials and design versions in real-time for an interactive 3D experience. The app will help the client and tradesmen view multiple stages of architectural visualization with a focus on precise placement and viewing of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, as well as framing, exterior designs, and interior design choices.
The app must include photorealistic resolution and accurate lighting control using HDRIs as well as spotlight control.
Key Features and Requirements:
- *Platform*: Meta 3 headset with Unity.
- *Primary Focus*: Architectural visualization in AR for MEP, framing, exteriors, and interiors.
- *Multiplayer Functionality*: The app will support both in-person and remote users in a shared space, allowing collaboration on designs.
- *Material/Object Switching*: Users should be able to switch between different materials and objects in-game for real-time visualization.
- *Object Import Pipeline*: Develop a seamless pipeline to easily import new objects and materials into the app.
- *User Interaction*: The app should support both controller and hand-tracking inputs for easy interaction by clients.
- *Passthrough Mode*: Leverage passthrough AR mode to blend real-world elements with the architectural visualization.
