The Accounting & Consulting professional provides financial expertise, strategic guidance, and compliance support to help organizations manage finances efficiently and make informed business decisions. This role combines core accounting functions with advisory services to improve financial performance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reconciliations.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and financial reporting standards.

• Provide financial consulting and advisory services to support business planning, forecasting, and growth strategies.

• Conduct financial analysis to identify risks, cost-saving opportunities, and performance improvements.

• Assist clients or internal stakeholders with audits, tax filings, and regulatory submissions.

• Collaborate with management to improve financial controls, processes, and policies.

• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.

• Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong communication skills to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple clients or projects effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration.

• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CFA (preferred, depending on role).

• Experience in management consulting, financial advisory, or audit.

• Familiarity with financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation techniques.

• Experience working with SMEs, startups, or enterprise clients.
