The Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications throughout the software development lifecycle. This role involves designing, implementing, and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software meets requirements.

• Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools and follow up on resolutions.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and improve software quality.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to QA best practices and standards.

• Analyze test results, create detailed QA reports, and recommend improvements.

• Mentor junior QA engineers and guide the QA team in adopting effective testing strategies.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging testing tools, methodologies, and technologies.
