Job Description:

The QA & Testing role involves ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications before release. Professionals in this role are responsible for identifying bugs, validating functionality, and verifying that the product meets business and technical requirements. They perform manual and automated testing across various environments, prepare detailed test documentation, and collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product teams to resolve issues. QA specialists also analyze test results, maintain testing standards, and contribute to improving the overall development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Perform manual, functional, regression, and usability testing.

• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.

• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.

• Validate business logic and ensure product alignment with requirements.

• Collaborate with development and design teams to resolve issues.

• Participate in review meetings and provide quality-related insights.

• Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.

• Support automation testing when required.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

• Proficiency in manual testing techniques.

• Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla.

• Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) is an advantage.

• Ability to write clear test cases, reports, and documentation.

• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in teams.

• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and responsive testing.
