A QA & Testing professional is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications before release. The role focuses on identifying defects, validating requirements, and maintaining high product standards through structured testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and prepare test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

• Perform manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications

• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools

• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and UAT testing

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues

• Ensure software meets quality, performance, and security standards

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC

• Knowledge of manual and automation testing concepts

• Attention to detail and analytical thinking

• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools

• Good communication and documentation skills
