We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive with hands-on experience in managing client acquisition through Upwork and other freelancing platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving growth in our freelancing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and generate business opportunities on Upwork by bidding on relevant projects.
- Proposal Writing: Craft and submit tailored proposals for projects on Upwork, ensuring competitive and compelling bids.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients on Upwork to ensure repeat business.
- Market Research: Stay updated on the latest trends in freelancing platforms and adjust bidding strategies accordingly.
- Sales Targets: Meet and exceed revenue targets by successfully closing deals with clients on Upwork and other platforms.
- Communication: Serve as the point of contact between the company and clients, providing high-quality customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as project managers and technical teams, to ensure client needs are met.
- Freelancing Platform Expertise: Stay current with Upwork’s policies, algorithms, and bidding strategies to maximize visibility and winning potential.
- Reporting: Maintain records of bids, client interactions, and revenue, and report on key performance metrics related to business development on Upwork.
- Client Onboarding: Ensure smooth onboarding and understanding of project requirements from the client’s side, collaborating with internal teams.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: 2-4 years of experience in business development with a specific focus on freelancing platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, etc.
- Proposal Writing Skills: Demonstrated ability to craft clear, compelling, and competitive proposals on Upwork.
- Client Engagement: Experience in managing client communications and closing sales deals.
- Upwork Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Upwork’s bidding system, project categories, and marketplace dynamics.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a proven track record of securing profitable deals.
- Sales-Driven: A passion for sales, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent Communication: Fluent in written and spoken English, with a clear and persuasive communication style.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure client satisfaction.
