The QA & Testing professional is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software products before they are released to end users. This role focuses on identifying defects, validating requirements, and ensuring that applications meet functional, usability, security, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze business and technical requirements to ensure testability and completeness.

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web, mobile, and desktop applications.

• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.

• Execute automated tests using appropriate testing frameworks and tools where applicable.

• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using bug-tracking tools.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to resolve quality issues.

• Validate fixes and perform re-testing to ensure issues are resolved correctly.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, best practices, and project timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.

• Experience in manual and/or automated testing for web and mobile platforms.

• Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools.

• Familiarity with databases and basic SQL for data validation.

• Understanding of cross-browser and cross-device testing.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or TestNG.

• Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.

• Basic understanding of performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner).

• Knowledge of security testing fundamentals.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
