The QA & Testing Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software products before release. This role focuses on identifying defects, validating functionality against requirements, and ensuring a seamless user experience through structured testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

• Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications

• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects

• Conduct regression, functional, integration, and system testing

• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently

• Validate bug fixes and ensure product stability before release

• Participate in release planning and quality sign-offs

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices

Required Skills & Tools

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC

• Manual testing techniques and defect lifecycle management

• Bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps)

• Test case management tools (TestRail, Zephyr)

• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL

• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, APIs)

Automation (Optional / Preferred)

• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium

• Knowledge of scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
