A Network & System Administrator is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and securing an organization’s IT infrastructure. This role ensures the smooth operation of servers, networks, systems, and related technologies while minimizing downtime and addressing technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and operating systems

• Monitor network performance and system availability

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls

• Implement security measures, firewalls, and backup strategies

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues

• Perform regular system updates, patches, and performance tuning

• Maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

• Experience with Windows/Linux server administration

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies

• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices

• Problem-solving and analytical skills
