The SEO (Search Engine Optimization) professional is responsible for improving a website’s visibility and ranking on search engines through strategic planning, technical optimization, and content enhancement. This role focuses on driving organic traffic, increasing search presence, and supporting long-term digital growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.

• Conduct keyword research to identify high-impact search terms aligned with business goals.

• Optimize website content, meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal linking.

• Perform technical SEO audits to identify issues related to site speed, crawlability, indexing, and mobile usability.

• Monitor website performance using analytics and SEO tools and prepare regular performance reports.

• Manage link-building and outreach campaigns to improve domain authority.

• Collaborate with content writers, designers, and developers to ensure SEO best practices are followed.

• Stay updated with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.

• Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.

• Knowledge of on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and technical SEO.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript from an SEO perspective.

• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to analyze data and convert insights into actionable strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field.

• Experience with content optimization and SEO-driven content strategy.

• Understanding of local SEO, international SEO, and mobile SEO.

• Exposure to schema markup, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.

• Experience working in Agile or marketing-driven environments.
