Q1. Shubham, who are you beyond your business titles?

I consider myself a passionate believer in the power of sports. The various roles I hold today are simply different platforms through which I pursue that mission. Whether it is Real Kabaddi League, Play Sports, Atlanture Sports, or my international business responsibilities, my core purpose remains the same: creating opportunities and making a positive impact. Growing up in Haryana, sports were always a significant part of life. I witnessed firsthand how sports could transform individuals and communities. They teach resilience, teamwork, discipline, and leadership qualities that extend far beyond the playing field. Today, my goal is to create systems and platforms that allow more young people to access those benefits and realize their potential.

Q2. What inspired you to launch the Real Kabaddi League?

Kabaddi has always been more than a sport for me. It is deeply connected to our culture, our villages, and our identity. Despite its popularity, I felt that many talented Kabaddi players were not receiving the opportunities and recognition they deserved. The idea behind the Real Kabaddi League was to create a platform to elevate the sport and provide athletes with greater visibility and professional opportunities. We wanted to create an environment where talented players could showcase their abilities, compete at a higher level, and inspire the next generation of athletes. Seeing the league complete multiple seasons has been incredibly rewarding because it demonstrates the growing interest and potential within the sport.

Q3. What lessons has Kabaddi taught you about leadership and entrepreneurship?

Kabaddi teaches several lessons that directly apply to entrepreneurship. The sport requires strategy, teamwork, resilience, and quick decision-making. Success is rarely achieved through individual effort alone. Teams succeed when players trust each other, communicate effectively, and work toward a common objective. Entrepreneurship operates in much the same way. Building a company requires collaboration, adaptability, and the ability to perform under pressure. There are moments when things do not go according to plan, and leaders must remain focused while finding solutions. Many of the leadership principles I apply today were learned through sports.

Q4. What inspired the creation of Play Sports?

Play Sports emerged from a larger vision. As I traveled and interacted with athletes, coaches, and sports enthusiasts, I realized that access to quality sports education remained a challenge for many people across India. Not everyone has access to professional coaching facilities or experienced mentors. At the same time, digital technology has made learning more accessible than ever before. We saw an opportunity to bridge this gap. Play Sports is being built as India's first digital sports learning platform, designed to make sports education accessible, engaging, and scalable. We want aspiring athletes to learn from experts regardless of where they live. Our long-term goal is to increase participation in sports and contribute to India's preparation for the 2036 Olympics.

Q5. Why is the 2036 Olympics such an important milestone for your vision?

The Olympics represent much more than a sporting event. They symbolize national aspiration, excellence, and global recognition. India has immense athletic talent, but realizing that potential requires long-term investment in sports education, infrastructure, coaching, and participation. When we talk about the 2036 Olympics, we are talking about preparing an entire generation of athletes. The athletes who will represent India in 2036 are already growing up today. The decisions we make now will influence their opportunities and development. That is why our focus is not limited to elite athletes. We want to encourage broader participation because a larger talent pool ultimately strengthens the entire ecosystem.

Q6. How do you see technology transforming sports education?

Technology has the potential to democratize access to knowledge. Historically, quality coaching was available primarily in major cities or specialized academies. Digital platforms can remove many of those barriers. Athletes can access training content, expert guidance, performance analysis, and educational resources from virtually anywhere. Technology also enables personalization. Learning experiences can be tailored to individual goals, skill levels, and progress. I believe technology will play a major role in making sports education more inclusive and accessible in the coming years.

Q7. What challenges does Indian sports still need to overcome?

One of the biggest challenges is accessibility. Many talented athletes still lack access to quality coaching, facilities, and competitive opportunities. There is also a need for greater awareness regarding sports as a viable career path. Families often prioritize traditional professions because they perceive them as more stable. Changing this mindset requires success stories, infrastructure, and support systems that demonstrate the opportunities available within sports. Fortunately, significant progress is being made, and I am optimistic about the future.

Q8. What leadership principles guide your decisions?

I believe leadership begins with purpose. When people understand why they are doing something, they become more committed and resilient. I also value consistency. Success is rarely the result of a single breakthrough moment. It is usually the outcome of sustained effort over time. Another important principle is empowerment. Great leaders create environments where others can succeed. Building strong teams and supporting people in their growth is essential for long-term success.

Q9. How do you balance multiple leadership roles?

The key is alignment. While my responsibilities may appear diverse, they are connected by common themes such as growth, opportunity creation, and impact. I focus on building capable teams, establishing clear priorities, and maintaining strong communication. Delegation and trust are also critical. No entrepreneur can build meaningful organizations alone. Success depends on surrounding yourself with talented individuals who share your vision.

Q10. How has Fixnhour helped your business?

What stands out about Fixnhour is its focus on credibility and founder visibility. In today's digital environment, people want to understand the story behind a business. They want to know who the founders are, what they stand for, and how they create value. Platforms like Fixnhour provide companies with opportunities to showcase their expertise, achievements, and vision. This helps build trust and strengthens relationships with potential customers and partners. Trust remains one of the most valuable assets in business, and initiatives that strengthen trust contribute positively to the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Q11. What is your long-term vision?

My long-term vision is to help create a stronger sports culture in India. I want to see greater participation, improved access to education and coaching, and more opportunities for athletes at every level. Through Real Kabaddi League, Play Sports, and future initiatives, our goal is to contribute meaningfully to the development of India's sports ecosystem. If we can inspire more young people to participate in sports, pursue excellence, and believe in their potential, then we will have achieved something truly meaningful.
