Who is Chandni Jagga?

While technology is changing every industry, the real difference between innovation and merely building software is making it possible for people to lead by creating opportunities and solving real-life problems. Technology has always been the platform for impact to Chandni Jagga. CloudMinister Technologies's co-founder and chief marketing officer, Chandni, has contributed significantly to the establishment of a firm specializing in cloud technologies, digital transformation, and business innovation. However, her journey doesn't stop at business expansion. She is also passionate about increasing opportunities for women in technology, mentoring aspiring technology professionals and promoting inclusive leadership in the tech sector.

Chandni is an alumna of NSRCEL at IIM-Bangalore and the India School of Business (ISB) who is passionate about helping businesses achieve digital transformation by strategically leveraging technology, storytelling, marketing, and building meaningful customer relationships. She is also the chairperson of RCCI YWE, actively promoting entrepreneurship and leadership among women, presently. Fixnhour spoke with Chandni in an exclusive Founder Spotlight, where she discusses her journey in entrepreneurship, her views on leadership, and why technology should always be used for a cause.

Q1. My name is Chandni. Before we discuss CloudMinister Technologies, tell us about yourself. Who or what inspired you to start your business?

I always felt like there was no point in this technology if there wasn't something positive that came from it. I've always loved to solve problems, create meaningful businesses, and help people realize their potential throughout my journey. Entrepreneurship has afforded me the chance to be creative, strategic, and technologically advanced in developing something of value. It was also an opportunity to make a positive impact on the development of a more inclusive technology ecosystem that is accessible to everyone through innovation and leadership.

Q2. What got you into the idea behind CloudMinister Technologies?

The vision behind CloudMinister Technologies was to make technology accessible, easy, and fun for businesses to adopt. The key reason why many organizations fail to achieve digital transformation is that technology moves faster than businesses. We wanted to be a trusted technology partner that would make it easy for businesses to embrace cloud, digital transformation, and enterprise technology and ensure they stay competitive in a digital world. We have always wanted to develop solutions that would be pragmatic, scalable, and business-oriented.

Q3. What is your definition of what marketing does in the current technological world as chief marketing officer?

Marketing is not just promoting products any more. It's all about education, trust, and meaningful relationships. Technology firms tend to be very much into engineering and forget about communication. Customers don't simply buy software. They purchase confidence, know-how, and the vision from the company. Businesses can use strong storytelling to communicate complex technologies in an accessible manner and establish longer-lasting customer relationships. We should work on building the trust and then generate leads.

Q4. You want to be a part of women's empowerment in technology. Why is this mission important to you?

Technology needs to be a place where all can win. On my travels, I have witnessed brilliant women rise to the occasion and make a huge difference when provided the opportunity and support. I love mentoring, encouraging leadership, and helping to create environments where women feel encouraged to pursue a career in technology and entrepreneurship. The more diverse the organization, the stronger the innovation. The key to good leadership is to empower others; it's good business!

Q5. Explain what the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs are in today's world.

Curiosity is one of the most useful attributes. As technology evolves, so do the businesses of entrepreneurs, and it is important that they keep learning. Resilience is also vital, as the business path is fraught with problems, uncertainty, and failures. Most importantly, the founders must not lose sight of the real problem that customers must solve. If businesses can generate value, they will be successful, not just following trends. Innovation should never be for the sake of it.

Q6. What changes does digital transformation introduce to businesses?

Digital transformation is no longer a choice. In an effort to enhance efficiency and customer experiences, organizations are turning to cloud technologies, AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making. The essence of successful transformation isn't just about tools, however. It's about cultural change, leadership alignment, and business goals. Technology should be used to make things easier, not harder. Companies that are willing to continuously innovate will stay competitive in the coming years.

Q7. What do you think are the top three qualities and skills a woman entrepreneur must possess?

Trust in your convictions. Do not delay until all is right before you take action. Strengthen self-confidence by action. Keep learning. Surround yourself with growth-enhancing people. Most of all, don't underestimate what you can do to make a difference! All successful entrepreneurs begin in a position of doubt. The distinction is that you have the option of moving forward anyway.

Q8. What kind of lessons are you taking from your leadership experience?

The first step to leadership is empathy. When people feel heard, respected, and supported, they will do their best! I have also found that working together produces greater results than individuals individually. Successful businesses are built through multiple views, constant communication, and a common goal. Leadership is all about helping people to develop and remaining faithful to your vision.

Q9. What is the significance of ‘founder branding' in a modern business world?

Branding has turned into a big deal for the founders. People today are looking to get to know those who are behind the business that they have chosen to do business with. The sharing of genuine stories, experiences, and insights establishes trust and fosters real connection. Founders have a platform to highlight their journey and be part of the greater entrepreneurial ecosystem, such as Fixnhour. First, people connect to people, then people connect to brands.

Q10. What are your future plans for CloudMinister Technologies?

We want to continue our mission to assist businesses to embrace technology that delivers tangible results. We also wish to make a contribution to the creation of an ecosystem for technology that embraces innovation, collaboration, diversity, and continuous learning. CloudMinister Technologies will remain on the mission of providing solutions for organizations to grow and empower tomorrow's leaders to create what's next as new technologies emerge and transform industries. Business growth isn't the only measure of success. It's measured in the positive change that we make on our journey.

A final message to the entrepreneurs.

Technology will continue to shape the world. However, people will forever be at the heart of innovation. Stay curious. Keep learning. Support others. Create companies for good. But also keep in mind that if you measure your leadership by how much you achieve in isolation, you will never know if you are a true leader because you will never feel like you've inspired anyone to grow with you.
