A Quality Assurance (QA) & Software Testing Engineer is responsible for ensuring that software applications meet the required quality standards before they are released. The role includes planning and executing test cases, identifying bugs, performing manual and automated testing, and collaborating with developers to ensure issues are resolved.
QA Engineers ensure the product is stable, functional, user-friendly, secure, and performs as expected across different devices and environments. They play a crucial role in maintaining the overall product quality and improving the user experience.

Required Skills

1. Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (Manual & Automation)

• Ability to create test plans, test cases, and test scripts

• Experience with automation tools: Selenium, Postman, Playwright, Cypress, Appium

• Knowledge of bug tracking tools: Jira, Trello, Bugzilla

• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodology

• API testing and database testing (SQL queries)

• Familiarity with performance & security testing concepts

• Basic knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript — preferred for automation)
