A QA & Testing professional is responsible for ensuring that software products meet quality standards and function as expected before release. The role focuses on identifying bugs, usability issues, and performance gaps through systematic testing processes. QA engineers work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to maintain product reliability, improve user experience, and ensure compliance with requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

• Perform manual and automated testing of applications

• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing

• Validate UI/UX, security, and compatibility across devices and browsers

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely bug fixes

Core Skills Required:

• Manual and automated testing techniques

• Test management and bug-tracking tools

• Understanding of SDLC and STLC

• Basic knowledge of automation tools and scripting

• Attention to detail and analytical skills
