A QA & Testing professional is responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of games or software products before release. They identify bugs, glitches, and usability issues, verify fixes, and ensure that the final product meets quality standards and user expectations. QA Testers work closely with developers, designers, and product teams to improve functionality, gameplay experience, and overall reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Test games/software to identify bugs, crashes, and performance issues

• Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios

• Report, track, and verify bugs using bug-tracking tools

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing

• Test across multiple platforms, devices, and operating systems

• Reproduce reported issues and verify bug fixes

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and design requirements

• Provide feedback to improve gameplay balance and user experience

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Understanding of software testing methodologies

• Experience with manual testing and basic automation testing

• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail)

• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes

• Ability to write clear and detailed bug reports

• Basic understanding of programming or scripting (optional but helpful)
