A Data Visualization Specialist is responsible for transforming raw data into clear, understandable, and visually appealing graphical formats such as dashboards, charts, graphs, and reports. The role focuses on presenting insights that support decision-making for business teams and leadership.
They work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to convert complex data sets into meaningful insights using visualization and BI tools. Their work helps organizations track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven strategic decisions.

1. Technical Skills

• Expertise in Data Visualization & BI Tools such as:

  • Power BI

  • Tableau

  • Google Data Studio / Looker Studio

  • Qlik Sense

• Strong knowledge of dashboard design principles and analytics

• Ability to work with datasets, perform data cleaning, and modeling

• Understanding of SQL, Excel, Python/R (optional but beneficial)

• Knowledge of KPIs, metrics, and business reporting

• Ability to interpret complex datasets and convert into visual insights

• Experience with data storytelling and presentation techniques
