A Quality Assurance (QA) professional is responsible for ensuring that software products, applications, and systems meet the defined standards of quality, functionality, and performance before release. The role involves designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers and project teams to resolve issues efficiently.

QA professionals analyze system requirements, create detailed test cases, perform manual and automated testing, and ensure all deliverables align with business goals and user expectations. They play a critical role in maintaining product stability, preventing errors, and improving the overall user experience.

The position demands a detail-oriented mindset, analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving abilities. QA specialists also provide insights to enhance processes, establish best testing practices, and support continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

• Proficiency in manual and automation testing methodologies.

• Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Postman, or QTP.

• Understanding of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Familiarity with API testing and bug tracking systems.

• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

• Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work closely with developers, designers, and business teams to ensure product quality.

• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
