Job Description
A Market & Customer Research professional is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to market trends, customer behavior, competitor strategies, and overall industry movement. They provide actionable insights that help organizations make informed decisions, improve products/services, understand customer needs, and identify potential growth opportunities. This role involves conducting surveys, interviews, competitor analysis, market segmentation, and preparing detailed analytical reports for internal teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct primary research through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and customer feedback tools.

Perform secondary research using online databases, industry reports, and market publications.

Analyze customer behavior, demographics, buying patterns, and satisfaction levels.

Evaluate competitor products, pricing, positioning, and marketing strategies.

Prepare comprehensive research reports, executive summaries, and data-driven recommendations.

Assist product, sales, and marketing teams with customer insights to shape business strategy.

Use statistical tools and data analysis techniques to identify patterns and market opportunities.

Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the business.

Create market segmentation profiles and customer personas.

Track and measure customer experience metrics (NPS, CSAT, user journey insights).
Required Skills

Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills

Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, SPSS, Tableau, Power BI)

Excellent communication and report-writing skills

Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data

Knowledge of market research methodologies
